The school is a small rural school. Support is provided by the Disadvantaged Schools Program (DSP) and Country Areas Program (CAP). The shared views of the school and community on the essential outcomes of education for the students of the school are "to empower our pupils with literacy and numeracy, communication and social skills in order to become individuals capable of fulfilling a rewarding role in society."
