Acknowledgement of Country

We, the Mathoura Public School Community acknowledge the Moitheriban people of the Yorta Yorta Nation as the traditional custodians of teh land in which we live, learn, play and grow. We appreciate and care for this Country, especially for the Dungala (Murray River), the bala Nurtja (red gum forest) and the Yorta Yorta totem, the Badja Bayaderra (long-necked turtle).
